Your Divorce Theme Song

One particularly hard day, I asked myself if I could live with what I had been living with for another 10 years. The answer was no. I was ready, and my son was as safe as I could make him.

From that day forward, I vowed to live each and every day without regret.

And I have. It's been 5 glorious years of no regret, living like it's my last day. I gave up most of my money and my assets, but gained a life of happiness every single day. No regrets.

Nickelback

Gosh, I love that song!
That's the best attitude to have :)- I hope to get there soon ....

I've been thinking about this for over a day, my ex and I aren't all that hostile, and never have been.

I LOVE Pink, So What, if I had to pick a nasty divorce theme. But I would rather have Pink, Raise Your Glass. I think that song is more me.

What was your wedding song? (this should age some of us!)
Mine was Unchained Melody.

Janibel, this too, shall come.

Our wedding song was 'Color my World' by Chicago.

I love her attitude and singing in this one ...

Wow. Haven`t heard this one for a long time.

So many fun time memories of being a kid and doing stupid things on a Friday night.

My Mom would absolutely lose it when I played this album - which was always. Ha!

lol...been awhile for me also wretch...came back to mind during my separation here....needed to vent some anger somehow...this song kicked in immediately :D

I hear you on the parents not liking it...I usually sat in my room with the headphones on whenever I decided to play any slayer!!...

"the root of all evil is the heart of a black soul"

:o Back when I was a teen, we would 'skwish' the speakers to our ears to listen to Led Zep full blast - no wonder I suffer from tinnitus today!

I'm just kidding Janibel...compared to slayer, Zeppelin is super easy listening... :D

If you were listening to Slayer with headphones, it's a miracle that you haven't done permanent damage to your hearing - not to mention your immortal soul ;)

OMG my ex is here....oh I see....we just had the same wedding song.

lol -- you, I, and probably 100,000 others in the province alone.
Wasn't every unique, was it? :)

Well I was a Righteous Brothers fan before Top Gun or Ghost....When I was getting married, it wasn't that popular(mid 90s). At least we didn't chose Randy Travis "Forever and ever amen".....

As a classical singer, I probably have enough must have music for a 2 hour funeral.....its actually a running joke in my choir.

LOL...I may have scarred the soul a little listening to all that Slayer...but NOTHING compared to the way the ex SUCKED it out of my body , stamped on it and tossed it into the trash!! :D
