Transferring a LIRA

Hi everyone,

I have a LIRA that as of DOS was worth approx 50k.

My ex is entitled to half of this and during our negotiations I'm offering her 40k.

How does one go about carrying out this task? Do I have to provide the bank a court order for this? or can we just fill out some forms at the bank?

An investor can help you out. Usually just a form you fill out and send to the fund company. The ex will have to set up a LIRA account
