Is it just me or do they all look like they got hit with the ugly stick...Brazeau included. His over confidence annoys me. Did you see those lil tight briefs he wore when he had his lil fight against Trudeau? I almost lost my stomach.

Yes...Brazeau definitely thinks he is it, but then again you can sort of see why considering the ilk he is surrounded with. It's the old good looking gal/guy surrounding themselves with not so fancy folks, to make themself look better

So...you are not digging this?

The look on Trudeau's face in acknowledgement to Brazeau's antics, says it all.

I hope Harper continues his stance that they should be suspended without pay, even after the backroom deal allegations

As do I, why they are not in jail is beyond me.
I'd seriously like to be invited onto that gravy boat. Dear old Jackie, I wonder what he thinks of the lot!

I think that each case should be tried on its own merits, and sentances should be handed out after the results are made public.

Wallin broke the travel guidelines but according to the auditor, most of her infractions were before the rule changes, so many for many of them she did not break the rules of the time.

Brazeau and Duffy both claimed the living allowances that they should not have been entitled to, because they don't live where they claimed. Though the rules were fuzzy and for tax purposes, you can chose which residence you have as your primary residence.

Mac Harb, the Liberal senator whose abuse was almost as much as the Brazeau, Wallin and Duffy combined had the smarts to just resign.

You must be on the Harper bandwagon...or work for him.

I don't think their punishments should all be the same either, they can all have varying prison stints. Or better yet, make them all go live amongst the average joe blows. Most, if not all, are out of touch with reality, atleast my reality.

By no means do I think its limited to the conservatives. I assume many a politician from both the concervatives and liberals dip into the pot. Who knows, if I were in their position and new the repercussions were almost non existant, I might even do the same.

So this coming week we should know what will happen to these clowns

Then there is whathisnuts Rob Ford in Toronto

There you have it

OTTAWA—Three former Conservative Senate stars begin the first day of their two-year exile today after being suspended for spending infractions that on Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s doorstep.

The upper chamber voted late Tuesday to suspend senators Mike Duffy, Pamela Wallin and Patrick Brazeau, stripping them of their $135,200 a year salary for up to two years despite their heartfelt protests they had done nothing wrong.
