Support Payments on Moonlighting jobs?

Support Payments on Moonlighting jobs?

Well a) you would have to get the tax assessment; b) you would have to demonstrate she did it purposely. Then the repercussion is she has to pay back what was overpaid by you.

Just because she did it with other things or before doesn’t mean she will do it again. Plus you would have to prove she is actually doing it.

So no, there are no punishments for her especially if you can’t prove she did it.

"especially" maybe that was redundant.

Are there interest penalties on the CS and SS?
Maybe the ex could be subject to a financial audit at their cost. If this is a private business they are hiding then there may be more to it.

IDK. Those with more experience know.

The burden of proof lays on the person making the claim. Should they wish to ask the court to order an audit, they can do so. If they pay for it, they can attempt to recoup via cost award if they are successfully able to prove hidden income if it amounts to a substantial difference in equalization or support. If not, the claimant can bear the cost of their fishing expedition.
