Quick question....Does anyone know if the amount I will be paying in Child/Spousal support will show up on my Credit Bureau?

I ask because in order for me to buy my ex out of the house, we had to provide the bank with a Separation agreement showing I pay 1000 a month in support. Just wondering if I go to buy a vehicle later on from somewhere else, is that 1000 going to show up when they check my credit?

Thanks so much

Steveco....

I see why you bothered, but lets look at the big picture

The Bank is only asking for the separation agreement to make sure that indeed you are separating and that it's ok for you to buy your ex out. Also they needed the info for their own calculation to make sure that 'you' will still be able to carry the mortgage and any other debt based on your income.

Now the only way that 1k/month is going to show up on your credit score, is if you are getting some kind of loan from the bank to make this payment.

You will however have to declare your monthly outgoing when you fill out the form form for the car purchase, unless of course you choose not to mention it.

If the car dealer happens to use your bank as their finance company, then obviously your name will pop on their system.
