As stated I have four children, I have one 8 year old son from a previous relationship. Once we seperated he moved to another province and has refused to stay in contact with his son. We've been seperated for over 6 years - I filed for child support last year and have also recently negotiated a verbal agreement to increase telephone contact ... I realize no matter what my son will always care for his father and needs him in his life, therefore I will not judge his previous choice to abandon him. I find most men prefer solitude to nurse their wounds, even when it can take years.

I have been in a new relationship for the passed 3 years, my new spouse has two children from a previous relationship that reside with us full time. We have serious ongoing issues with his exgf, who is an alcoholic and known drug user - with continuous RCMP and Ministry involvement past and present. We've been through court numerous times, but she seems to have no issues with breeching orders and causing difficulties whenever an opportunity arises.

That being said, our deepest desire is that she opens her eyes to her errors and begins to put the children first in her life. We want to see their mother become a healthy and responsible parent. We would love to be able to send the children for a visit and not have to argue about silly things  or worry about the safety of the children. It doesn't have to be like this!

Last, but not least is our youngest son, who was born over a year ago. He seems to be the being that merges us all together. He's the joint connection between all of us.
