SS fixed and not subject to material change..is that logical

Hello All,
At the Settlement conference , judge asked for the lawyers inside the room only.
The exs lawyer is saying that the judge made a recommendation with fixed SS.

My lawyer saying that she didn't hear that.

Now the exs lawyer is pushing to the final agreement to be fixed SS.

I thought material change is always considered.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
 
Who do you pay?

Your lawyer, or your ex's lawyer?

I would listen to the one that works for you.
