SS and Med Leave

If my wife and I split, which is likely, I expect her to go on stress leave and never go back to work. We both have good jobs with excellent benefits, but she's always stressed, I usually get blamed for it.
My question is if she goes from making $75000 a year to sick leave paying %60, do I have to pay SS.
We have kids and I expect to pay CS but am OK with that.

well if she is off and tries to say its because of stress caused by you then she can go back to work when you separate

By the time you have paid for CS and she has got 60% of her salary, your incomes might be equal so no SS.

She would have to prove that the stress was caused by the breakdown of the marriage....that wouldn't be a problem prob.

Maybe you should go on stress leave and beat her to it.
