Spousal support and life insurance - looking for CanLii reference

Hi,

I'm self-representing and doing research for my first case conference. No child support in my case, only spousal.

STBX is asking for maximum of SSAG + that I maintain life insurance with her as beneficiary at my cost. I remember seeing a reference on Canlii saying that the combined payment for spousal support + life insurance premiums should not exceed 50% of payee's net income. (SSAG 7.4.1 says something similar but I'd like to have a case reference that concurs.)

Can anyone out there recall such a case?

The insurance premiums are entered into the SSAG calculations, which may impact the support range.
