she expects "FULL" financial disclosure

Just wondering if this is normal...

Greedy ex is expecting FULL (entire) financial disclosure - down to monthly bank & credit card statements, vehicle loan information, etc., for the past 6 years. Should I tell her to do the same if she expects this from me? She's the one living well above her means.

Can I request case conference date be rescheduled due to work conflicts? How is that looked at? For me to schedule time off work is next to impossible this time of year and I'll pretty much be expected to resign if that is the case due to the impact it will create with work.

Any advise is, as always, appreciated.

I am assuming this is prior to equalization of assets.

Normally three years of tax returns is used to calculate income, in case income goes up and down. And yes what is good for the gander should be good for the goose.

But for current assets and debts, usually they just need statements of the accounts as of separation date.

Of course if you own your own business, it would be more complicated.

She might be trying to show that you hide income. Or that you have "recklessly depleted" family resources.

Equalization requires both of you to do a full disclosure, and yes that includes bank accounts, debts, cars et al

I have a .xls spreadsheet with formula (there might even be one on this forum) that will calculate the total for you as you input data

It is already populated with headers like budget, household items, kid(s), insurance, healthcare, pensions etc

But if she has asked for monthly statements for 6 years, clearly she wants something more than numbers for NFP. She is trying to establish some kind of pattern....

This all well AFTER our separation and asset disbursement (she took everything except the clothes on my back - I took all household debts, car payments (lease), etc.) and walked away.

calculating CS - she's greedy.. want's more and more - despite getting table amounts based on NOA's currently, plus more than necessary S7 expenses (from what I've been understanding), she also wants me to continue paying CS on my 19 y/o who is out of school now.

Sounds like you created this Monster....get my drift? You caved to everything, and she is seeing what else she can get...this might be your chance to give her the ever so popular "one finger salute", or tell her to get stuffed (in a polite way of course) :D

That's more or less what I've decided to give as my 'return' to the request... I'll wait for the court order for that request. She has all my NOA's and financial statement totals.

She get's her CS table amounts - she's just after changes based on 'immediate' income and doesn't want to wait until NOA's come out to see the change like we always did in the past.

Court is great for delay and obfuscation.

But if you owe x amount by table - no harm in paying it before the court directs you to do so.

Just my 2 cents..

That's the thing... Nothing is owed... she just wants "more" (than entitled to)... I'm always on time - as a matter of fact, I even pay a month in advance so I know she's received the $ and there is absolutely no concerns with payments being late. She's just handed me $3k in 'extra expenses' today and I'm sending her the $ this week too... She's looking for me to keep paying for my out of school 19y/o along with a greater share of expenses (we're currently 50/50 - she's quit her job for no legitimate reason and expects me to cover at least an 85/15 split now of s7 items).

Times like this it might not be a bad idea to consider going through FRO/MEP. You then don't have to deal with her directly. Once a year you exchange financial information and divy up who owes who what.

Give her 6 months having to get her cheque that way and I'm sure she will start thinking about going back to work (assuming you are her only source of income).

Yep. 100% agree.
I think you may have been to good to her.

This is why she is doing this... was is the $3k for? Legit expenses that YOU agreed too?

Heck, if someone just handed me $3k in expenses, I certainly would have a lot to say...

She ran up these expenses prior to discussing with me - I would have approved them regardless - but no - there was no prior discussions with me to approve them. One of the many violations of our separation agreement terms.

She'll continue to do so, as long as she gets away with it.
