So STBX has told me that your income is whatever you have decided to pay yourself as I am self employed..how will the business be valued..she is not an employee in the business, she never was?
Thanks

Well uless your better than the rest of us you must have a T4 or filed an income tax return.Thats your Income. If you havnt eventually you will have your income imputed for you and you will eventually agree to pay. Also being self employed and making an average living means you somehow have some $20,000 more than you claim in the perks from being the owner.

Even if your wife was an employee she will claim it was only on paper so you could save on tax.

Support is supposed to be based on the last three years income but if your last year was your best that,s what you will pay on.

There is no law in family law, the only interest the courts have in our children is who pays for them and who can they make pay with the least amount of effort and as much as possible.

Equalization is simple math untill you find out if your name is the only one on the credit card it becomes your side of the debt.
Now that,s not equalization to me but this is less effort and more pay against the payer, all in the good name of, IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILDREN.
