I attended my second case conference a couple of weeks ago (self represented) and reached an agreement with ex and her LAO lawyer. They have since sent me the minutes of settlement and I was curious as to the best way to have someone review them before I sign and return the document. Everything looks good to me however I want to ensure there aren't any 'gotcha's' in there with respect to future spousal support claims. Thanks....

I'm in the same boat, representing myself and just had a meeting with my ex's lawyer regarding minutes of settlement. And, as yourself, was almost certain it was satisfactory but I still wanted a 'legal opinion', even if it was just to confirm my own thoughts. The FLIC office is where I went. You can go and sign up on a sheet for apporximately 20 minutes of free legal advice. It helped me, took most of the day but was worth it!
