rental income of spouse

Hello:
I have a quick question about child support.
My partner is divorced with three kids and paying child supportnever been late.
We live together, but the place is in my name only. I want to rent a bedroom and my worry is that his ex wife might want a cut of the rental. Is it possible for her to ask for more child support although the house is in my name and I will be paying taxes on this income?

Your income and your partners income are typically considered separate when it comes to the child support that he pays.

Whatever money you bring in should have nothing to do with it.
