Its dangerous to create heroes based on one facet of someone's life. Lance Armstrong overcame cancer, obviously a gifted athlete with or without drugs, and raised millions of dollars for charity. Yet he cheated in his sport to win, lied repeated, and more greivously, persecuted those who told the truth about him.

Pistorius overcame great obstacles and made history. But that was one side of him. JFK was a great statesman, but had a sad personal life. I'm sure we can think of many others in a similar position.

People base their opinion on what the media shows, but like every other human, what goes on behind closed doors could be very different. In the worlds eyes he may have been a hero, surviving what he did and carrying on with his life, but do we really know what happened during his personal time when the media was not present?
 
Police had been called in the past to his residence for a domestic disturbance, and he was known to keep guns ready at hand, like beside his bed.
 
Dateline just did a thing on this tonight.....just like I thought, there was jealousy in the air and the GF craved publicity and went about different ways to be in front of the camera

No excuse for murder still.....He had to have known that if not for his fame and lucrative contract deals, girls won't be lining up to be with him because of his situation
