I broke up with my partner and they agreed to move out. I want to pay for their moving expenses as they have to go through the hassle of packing, relocating.

We don't have a separation agreement yet, and I'm wonder if it could come back to haunt me at a later date, if the separation goes to court or arbitration.

They are adults and capable of taking care of themselves. If they are not capable, they should be cared for by the provincial Guardian and Trustee.

You are broken up. They are not your responsibility, and you are not theirs.

If you want to bribe them to get the hell out sooner rather than later, that's your choice.

If you want to "help" them, then you are not broken up. I could use some help too. Small bills, not consecutively numbered, please.
