Re: section 7 expenses
Hello again,
Hope everyone is doing well.
I have a new question and of course appreciate all feedback...
In my Husband and X's agreement, it states that ITR's/NOA's are to be exchanged every June 1st and both CS and Section 7 expenses are to be adjusted by July 1st if required. It does NOT state in the agreement what percentage of the section (7) expenses each parent is responsible for.
They verbally agreed in mediation on 50% but the mediator did not include it in the agreement signed by the judge. ???
Since the agreement was made, they have each been contributing 50% towards extraordinary expenses ie daycare - my question is, how do they go about getting this in writing now? Can they sign a consent form? Do they have to back to court when they're both agreeing on the percentage?
And, is the cost of childcare still based on amount owed after childcare deduction, even when they are not basing they're proportions on their incomes but instead 50/50. Hoping this isn't a ridiculous question...
