I have a long motion coming up in late August. All materials, including the Factum and Affidavit, were filed in February. Since then, significant developments have occurred that I believe the judge needs to see to make an informed decision. I am looking for guidance on the following three procedural hurdles:
1. Form 14B for Leave to File Supplementary AffidavitI need permission (leave) to file a supplementary affidavit with new exhibits. I’ve been told a Form 14B (Motion for Procedural Order) can be used.

- Question: The other party is opposing the inclusion of this new evidence, is a 14B still appropriate? My understanding was that 14B is for "unopposed or consent" matters, but I am not clear on the rule. Would a short oral motion be safer?
- Question: Since affidavits are filed as PDFs, what is the current protocol in Brampton for "uploading" video exhibits? Do I upload them to CaseCenter (CaseLines) directly and then refer to a transcription in the PDF affidavit? How do I ensure the judge has the correct link/access?
- Question: Since the Compendium is essentially a curated subset of already filed materials for the judge’s convenience, how should it be tagged on JSO? Should it be uploaded as "Other" or should it skip JSO and go directly into CaseCenter?
