Hey all...I pop in here every few months to see how things are going...and to see if I am acting properly - or at least within reason. Latest update to my situation is that after 18mths - we are no further ahead.
Ex has now decided to go after net family values during our 1.5yrs co-habitation before marriage. She has also sought to have a portion of any retirement bonuses coming my way - because they would have been accrued during marriage.
I made 106K - and banked 80hrs of overtime this past year - which I disclosed - FYI folks - that's a no-no...I bank the time as it is used to offset or top up long term sick time -however- its still income...so I made 109K...
She is seeking table amount for CS (1500.00) - 400.00/mth in S7 - looking at mid range for SS (1000.00)...but actually wants it to be the net amount (thereby she doesn't have to claim anything).
Adding it all up - let's see...carry the 1...yep..okay...before her feet touch the floor in the morning - she wants 2500.00 tax free dollars....before she starts her 38K per year job.
That will leave me with about 2900.00/mth - PROVIDED I work OT.
She is seeking indeterminate because she suffers from some depression...although it seems at times that the depression only rears its head when she doesnt get her way...
Before posters jump all over me - I understand that depression IS an illness...it just seems in this case that it becomes an illness of convenience. She can travel - she can go work out - she can attend meetings - class functions - with no issue.
I WILL say though that the mediator we have seems very fair and will hopefully address things.
Anyway - -just venting - and if someone is seeing something completely offside - please comment
Cheers
