seeker101 - what were the costs associated with the above online process? Do you need a notary for step 5 (or others)?

Yes, you need a notary to commission Form 36 (affidavit of divorce) and Form 6B (affidavit of service).

I am going through a joint divorce, with a co-operative ex, and we are hoping to get through it all without more legal bills.

I do not understand how Form 36 works. It says 'one completed for you, and one for your spouse'. But bullet 1 on the form says "I am the applicant in this divorce case."... does the Respondent sign the same form with their name and address on it?
