I was divorced about 30 yrs ago after being married for 11 months.I am getting married in sept. do i need proof of my divorce to get a marriage licence thanks

I know in Toronto you are required to provide proof of divorce to get married again. Check your municipality's website to fine out what you need to provide to get marriage license.

that is my next plan thanks.how long does it take to get a licence do you know .we plan on getting married in Ontario but live in Alberta or can we get a marriage licience here and get married there.
