Heres an interesting topic for discussion. While speaking with the lawyer this morning he got very upset when we told him my partners ex has filed "statement of arrears" with FRO for S7 expenses. (We had to also explain they were rejected because they were calculated wrong).
He was angry because as he said FRO is mandated for child support and actual $$ amounts that are added to cs for s7 expenses not calculations because the % in most agreements isnt factoring in the "net cost" of the expense for calculation. He advised my partner to be careful with this because their order is old and the % is wrong. He understood why a MTC hasnt been done yet (partner desperately trying to find work so over paying right now is only a financial issue to our household) and said to watch the s7 expenses she may file. At this point that will be medical expenses later this year.
I was just surprised at his reaction. It wasnt a "youre getting screwed argument", it was a general dislike for the failure to adhere to the mandate.
Aside from the general hatred for FRO, what do others think about this?
