Quick question if anybody has the answer. If your paying your ex child support and she's also recieving child support from somebody else as well, does she need to put that on her financial statement? it seem like its a lot of money to me, 1300.00. Not trying to sound like a bad person, but thats a lot of money.

Yes the financial statement should detail all sources of income. The CS may not affect what you are paying but it still needs to be disclosed.

What if she is not putting the amount of child support she's receiving on her financial statement.

And what if she's not including the child support that I have been paying her as well. This matter hasn't gone to court yet and I just would like to know if she has to claim all the child support as a income, because she's not, and I think my lawyer may have over looked this, and I really don't feel like paying my lawyer another 250.00 just to look it up and charge me. Thanks very much if anybody knows the answer.

Child Support question

Child Support question

No, your x does not have to claim child support as income only spousal support and employment income.

I just filled out a form (13) financial used for support claims and there is no where that is asks for your support claim amount. This is the definition of what child support payments are. They are not considered income to the person receiving the child support. So when the form(13)

asks you to list all forms of income, child support is not considered income. Here is the link to the form where it asks you on page 3. If someone reading this has any other interpretation of it please post. Thanks honest x
