financial statement and EI

I have to file a financial statement and I am waiting for my first EI payment. I know that I should be recieving the maximum amount (gross $485 weekly), but I dont know how to estimate any deductions they will make (CPP, EI premiums or income tax).

Does anyone have any knowledge of this or know of a calculator? I would like to finish this and file my paperwork tomorrow :)
 
I am on EI ( mat leave) I receive the max $485/week. My payments go into my account biweekly and I receive $822 (411/week). Don't know the break down but I assume the difference is all fed tax ( no EI prem or CPP deducted).... But I'm not 100% sure.
 
another question:
I have sent my ex several offers to settle our financials, but he has never responded. He has applied for a motion to change, and I would like to have this addressed so we can have equalization and I can apply for divorce.

So I am now required to fill out a form 13.1 instead, which details the house and all items. We fairly split the household items. I made sure that we each got a fair share of everything. However, upon looking at photos of my ex's truck rebuild, it is obvious that he had over $2500 in tools (estimated as used price half of purchase price) and also a vehicle worth at leat $4000 and new parts worth about $1000 (all new). Total $7500 and all of theat went with him.

He keeps threatening to go after my RRSPs, which are worth about $10,000 at separation date. I had offered previously that in exchange he could keep everything from the garage as his if he left my rrsps alone. He didnt respond.

So, I dont want to go through the whole deal of estimating the price of everything in the house again. I am able to address the garage contents. Can I just write that household items were equally divided and settled on the form? Or do I need to show that we each got approximately a fair share of items?
 
I don't know if this helps, ex and I basically agreed on household items when we first separated over 3 years ago. The last offer sent through lawyers last year had a number of paragraphs that explained what the offer for division of property was, (house, RRSPs etc), and then there was a paragraph about the household items that said something to the following;

"Except as otherwise indicated, the Plaintiff and the Defendant shall retain any and all other property in their current and respective possession. The parties will agree that all of their household furnishings, effects and other items have been divided to their mutual satisfaction. They agree that the chattels, furnishings and personal property in the possession of the other shall be and remain their sole and exclusive property, and each will waive all right, title and interest in that property."

As far as I know stbx did not have to show his lawyer that we had divided the household items. The conversation I had with my lawyer in response to this offer was a simple "yes" we have divided the household items. My lawyer didn't ask for proof or a list.

Except that I dont want the garage contents included in that clause.

My idea know is to fill out all the major house items, showing that they were fairly split, and then the garage contents, and that these were all retained by him. It will show that for equalization he needs to pay me.

I will of course send him a financial settlement based on these calculations asking him to sign off his rights to any of my pensions and give up my rights to half the value of the garage items. I'm sure he sold most of them already, so hewould have no way of coming up with cash (unless he decided to finally get a job...11 months and counting!)
 
As much as I hate my exs overuse of spreadsheets, he did attach and label as, 'Property Distribution Schedule', a simple table, (doesn't really look like an excel spreadsheet).

There are 4 columns, description of (he used assets), est value, plaintiff, defendant. He put in the plaintiff/defendant column who he thought should retain the item and had totals at the bottom of each column.
