Finally, After a Nasty 4 Year Battle I Have 50/50 Custody and Equal Shared Parenting

Being a bit tongue in cheek now, but do you feel like you could represent yourself now based on your years of experience? Sorry to hear this man... Doesn't there need to be a material change ? What is she saying the material change is?

lol... I was a hot mess in court 10 years ago.
Today, I absolutely feel that I could represent myself in court (but never would actually do it...lol)

First off, I want to say congrats for getting your son and being his caregiver. You probably saved his life.
I went through a similar thing with my ex as she is an NPD (from what it sounds like your ex is too).

I don't think there is anything more you can do. This squarely sits on your case management judge. Is there an ability find a new one? My judge by the 3rd long and complicated false accusation, she put in a clause that my ex "can no longer bring any further Applications before the court to vary parenting of child until she obtains a report from a Psychologist registered with the Pyschology association in province that speaks to and evaluates any parenting issues she may have."

That path didn't go well for her.

Thanks FirstTimer!

She was foolish enough to leave her diaries, health and psychology documents behind when she disappeared with 3/4 of the household items and my son. Let’s just say that NPD was not the only diagnosis .

And thanks for the advice!

Hi Everyone,
After an almost 4 year battle with a mother with no morals whatsoever, I finally have 50/50 Custody and Equal Shared Parenting of my, now, 5 year old son. :)
A website has been dedicated to a factual accounting of my hell-on-earth experience over the past 4 years.

DECEMBER 2024 UPDATE:
The 3-year trial of the mother's last live-in boyfriend (and latest victim) is over.
After a gruelling three-year ordeal triggered by false accusations of domestic abuse by the mother, her ex-boyfriend was finally acquitted. While justice ultimately prevailed, this protracted legal battle took a devastating toll on his life, forcing him to rebuild his life from scratch.

With her ex-boyfriend's trial now concluded, the mother and I are scheduled to resume litigation in early 2025.

Take care and thanks for reading,
