Is it possible to work in I.T., and have atrocious spelling/grammar? I vaguely recall that Slughead shared that he worked in/at a Courthouse but did not specify in what capacity. There is little (if anything) to be accomplished by debating anything with him. In my opinion, it simply falls on deaf ears.

of course it is most programming doesn't follow typical rules of grammar and spelling....although some programming is part of my job it is not a large part

That is a possibility. It throws a wrench into matrimonial disputes based on allegations. When a new partner shows up it can demolish all the "controlling", "verbally abusive" and other baseless allegations that litter continuing records. The roles change from victim to aggressor in those situations. This is quite evident in WD's posted decision when he got married. Look at how the judge identified the change in the file at that time.

Another possibility is the fear of being abandoned by the kids... The whole fear of the children loving the new partner more than them.
 
My ex's new love took it upon herself to be quite aggressive. I've never met her, do not know her and yet I was bombarded with lunatic msgs (voicemails/texts/email) by her with a wide range of baseless accusations. The only thing that put a stop to it was having the Police contact her. I have never once been worried that my son would favour her over me - and as much as I don't think very highly of her, I have always told my son to be polite and respectful when in their home.

Perhaps if he'd "left me" (for her) it would all be different. I highly doubt it, but I don't know. But the fact is, I left him and have never regretted it. I wish he would have got together with someone with more sense (than his new wife) but alas, it was not to be. She threw herself fully into the fire, made loud scenes in the court hallway, and basically behaved like an idiot. *sigh* ...two total idiots found one another. It's a real epic love story ;)
 
Admittedly, I haven't read much of this thread at all, but I don't think anyone needs to be banned. If you do not like the answers someone gives you then you have two simple choices:

1. Use it as training to prepare yourself because you won't like many of the answers you get from your STBX, their lawyer, or the courts.

2. Ignore the person.

Or the injustices of things said at a case conference or any closed mediation that may have upset you that has no relevance before the court.
