Experience with police report/restraining order?

No. In Ontario doesn't matter what you say, if you are the female the male automatically gets arrested and charged, even if the report is visible full of lies. :( It's called some kind of no tolerance policy.
 
I tried to find information on the OPP website on harassment but came up with nothing. It's completely unrelated to family law, just thought perhaps some here may have some experience on the requirements and process to file a report and what happens once a report is filed. Thanks for the advice I've recieved so far!

what I had to do was go see a JP and tell her my story, she then wrote it out and filed the papers and a court date was set. Then I had to tell my stuff in front of a judge and he got to defend himself. Then the judge makes the decision to either grant it or dismiss it.
