I have texts on my phone that I think are evidence.
I want to preserve this evidence.
Is taking a picture of the texts good enough?
Do I need to be able to show someone the texts on the phone?
Take pictures of the entire conversation for each. Keeping them on your phone is better if they're important. You can attach them to an affidavit or ask questions about them during trial.
I would for voice mails or other recordings, but texts are already transcribed. A notary is not needed but a letter from your cell provider would be better. Most don't deny the texts, just the interpretation of them.
