Divorce from prison

I am worried about being unable to provide for my kids as a single mother when I separate from my common-law husband. I know he will have to pay child support, but he makes less money than me, and I don't even make very much money.
Will the government provide any extra assistance for child care, etc. once we separate?

contact social services and see what you qualify for. They can steer you to the agencies etc that you need to talk to. Where abouts are you located? Just the city and province and maybe someone has some help.
