Hello, I have a question about FRO and child support. I am court ordered to pay a specific amount of money for child support each month based on my projected income. I will be taking a new job that pays more. I'm wondering if FRO can increase my support payments from my new employer or would they need a new court order to increase my payments.

I don't want to pay more then the court order says right now because I'm already taking the ex back to court in August due to the fact that I've overpaid child support by $12,000.00 and am currently paying for two kids who are not attending school but the ex refused to remove them from my support obligation so therefore I've filed a motion to have it settled.

For four years I paid support on a projected income that I was never able to acheive ( that's how I overpaid $12,000.00 ) and when I called FRO back then to try and have them adjust my payments they said they couldn't without a court order. Now the shoe is on the other foot and I'll be making more then the court order. I hate FRO and they make up rules as they go to suit themselves. Just wondering if they can increase my payments without a court order.
Thank you

They can't increase your payments without a court order.

If you bring forward the motion to drop support for the 2 kids not in school, they will look at your new revised income at the same time.
