Change lawyer after cross motion

I recently was in court on a cross motion, will the outcome be affected if I let go my lawyer before the decision is released by the judge? I know the lawyer has to inform all parties and the court. Will that make me look bad to the judge?

Unlikely the judge would be made aware. But there will be cost submissions to do, and the best person to assist on this would be the lawyer who was there. Fire them afterwards.
