Silly question: what side of the court room do I stand/sit on for a case conference? I am the unrepresented applicant and I'm not sure if there is a protocol. Thanks in advance.....
This is a link to the government guide to court.
At the bottom of the page click "Ontario guide to the Family law procedures".
It did not say who sits where when it came to the respondent and the applicant, but I thought I'd offer it just the same. It has a lot of useful information.
When I had my case conference, I was on the left side (facing the judge) and I was the Respondant. Not sure if that's how it goes every time, but that's how the lawyers had sorted themselves before we were called in.
