Can I ask for EX's common law tax forms too ?

So its getting near tax form exchange time and since my ex has moved in with her boyfriend for about 9 months now, my question is, are they considered as living common law ?

If so, am I entitled to and does it benefit me to ask for his tax forms as well, since they are dual income compared to my single income .

I make more than her, but the two of them together make more than me .

Custody is 50 / 50, no spousal support. I pay child support .

Any info / advice is greatly appreciated .

The child support depends on solely your and your ex's income. (except if you claim "financial hardship")
You can ask for whatever you want, but they don't need to provide you with his tax return and even if they provide you with that, it has no significance based on the information you gave us about your custody/child support situation.

Child support is based solely on the incomes of the individual parents; household incomes (combined incomes of parents and other adults in the household) are not considered relevant except under very unusual circumstances, like extreme financial hardship). So your ex's partner's tax info isn't useful to you. I wouldn't bother asking, as they have no obligation to provide it to you.

Yes, and it cuts both ways. I make more than my ex, and pay her child support. My new common law partner also makes more than my ex. I would be crazy to convince the court to include my ex's partner's money in the mix, since that would mean that I had to do the same.

If and when you move on and find yourself a successful, independent woman that carries her own weight, you'll be glad you didn't jump on the crazy train.

If my fiancé's ex wife asked for my financial info I would tell her to get bent. Even though we file common law all my details get blacked out

Im not providing my income info for my partners ex wife. I dont care if Im pretty much carrying the expenses while hes looking for permanent full time employment. His ex isnt entitled to know my income.
