arrears question

A couple of questions relating to recent divorce/custody ruling.

Prior to ruling we agreed on a certain amount of child support. I paid this amount every month into canadian bank account (I live in Europe). At some point last summer she closed the account without notifying me and for three months I transferred money to a non-existant account. The money was eventually returned to my account with a few hundred dollars charges.

In the mean time she got her lawyer to send letter to court saying I had stopped paying child support. Anyway last NOvember she finally gave me new bank account details and I transferred the returned amount of money to her account (ie minus charges) along with regular amount monthly amount.

Financially got a lousy deal in divorce - I pay for all my access costs (8 transatlantic trips a year) and federal support guideline amount (80 bucks more than I had been paying in initial agreement). Also the judge backdated the payments to when divorce papers were served two years ago.

Her lawyer just sent a letter saying I was in arrears for a couple of thousand and ex was going to use an enforcement agency to monitor/recoup payments.

Ive spent all my savings on two years in court/access costs - have had to move in with relatives temporarily as dont have enough money to pay rent and legal fees. I am living on pay check to pay check. I dont have money to pay the 2000 yet - I have great access in canada (13 days out of 14 when I ma there) but I have no money to exercise access.

MY question is - I will spent my next 2000 bucks on a trip to see kid - will this be frowned upon by judge /canadian courts?- I cant bear the thought of going months without seeing kid.

The charges incurred through her closing the bank accounts? AM i liable for these also?
