Default motion days before settlement conference

I have a SC coming up shortly in Ontario, I am looking for telephone access, webcam, and to know where my child's address as I live on the other side of canada.i don't think a justice will order these items at the SC, would it be reasonable to have a motion heard a few days before? If i leave it alone I feel i will most likely be without these basic access items for some time to come.
any thoughts? regards,

You would require leave for that specific access motion of interim relief once a SC was held.
