Default Motion rules

I know motions are only allowable in exceptional circumstances before case conference in ontario. Is there anything similar as to an end date where motions are no longer acceptable in family court?

Nope. But when it's heard it might get aggregated with other matters, suborned to trial with main matters, or held in abeyance until trial is done - it's context dependent.
