can a witness be supeoned by both sides in nova scotia. I want to supeona
a witness that the other side in my case may want to supeona.
I thought that if I supeona that person first I will have control over wheather that person takes the stand. Is that true ?

If the other side has summons a particular witness to provide evidence, you could also summons same to ensure that they will be providing evidence.


Generally, Any witness that is summons to the proceeding can and may be subject to cross examination.
