  • Appeal after the trial

Finally he appealed ,served me the papers and had 15 days to provide transcripts etc.He did it and we are moving ahead towards appeal.

Poor fellow has money to pay even a dollar in child support for thr kids but can easily afford appeal.

After appeal is there anything he can do?
Is there any law that can stop him after a point?

Just making myself prepared for the looooooooooong battle.

    Any info/advise

On what grounds is he appealing? Appeals are costly and take a long time to be heard. A full transcript must be ordered and paid for by HIM, usually several thousand dollars. While waiting for the appeal to be heard (by the higher Court) all court-ordered CS/SS pymts must be maintained. I assume you have a Court Order for C/S?

Appeals in Family Court are very rare! Are you sure he's not bs'ing you? Did he file it within 30 days? It doesn't mean he'll get anywhere w/it, besides deeper indebted to his lawyer and presumably, you.
