  • Year To Date Income

Can some one tell me what is considered Income for the porpose of a Request by the court . The Request is for Year To Date Income information from all sources and proof. Does this include loans from friends, Tax refunds or just income earned from work.

    Thank You

For most people, this would simply mean providing their most recent pay stub, as pay stubs normally include a year to date of all employment income. Alternatively, if your pay stub doesn't include that, you can get a letter from your employer.

Loans from friends wouldn't be considered income. You should disclose these though, as otherwise it may look like you are living a lifestyle that can't be supported by your income.

Tax refunds wouldn't be considered income either, but again these must be disclosed.
