  • How to cancel a motion filed?

We have recently filed a motion to vary support, due to unemployment of the payor.

Now it looks like a job offer is in the cards, should this come through, how do we go about cancelling the motion?
Is there a form to file?
Do we have to show up on at the scheduled motion and make a statement? What is the protocol?

Any advice is, as always, much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    SA

    seekinganswers,

If you're the moving party of the motion; At least 2 days before the motion date (before 2 p.m.); Form 14C confirmation has to be filed with the Registrar confirming the forthcoming motion. You could indicate the reason for the adjournment or cancellation of the motion on this form.

You can find the form here
