Hi Everyone,
Without getting into the details of my particular case, I have a question regarding the extension of the FRO/Family Court. If I am in arrears, I am aware that the FRO can get a suspension of my Canadian passport. However, I hold dual citizenship with Britain, and have a UK passport as well. If my Canadian passport was ever suspended, could the court, or FRO, ever prevent me from travelling outside Canada with my British passport? As far as I knew, foreign travel documents were outside these agencies' jurisdictions, but I seem to remember Conrad Black having to surrender both of his passports.
Now I know the situations are chasms apart, but am just curious what will happen to me if I try to travel on this passport? Any informed response would be greatly appreciated.
