I've been picking my way through this site over the past week, trying to learn and inform myself of every possible item and scenario involved in Separation and Divorce, as well as major paperwork and procedures that needs to be completed in doing so.

I have come across numerous acronym's and unknown references to what should be simple pieces of common information.

Any chance of or opinions to the idea from moderators or senior member to start a GLOSSARY tread.

    CA -- Custody Agreement
    CC -- Court Case
    CP -- Custodial Parent
    NCP -- Non-Custodial Parent
    STBX -- Soon-to-be Ex

Those are just a few examples. Another statement was "My D6"

    -- C.C.

    Excellent idea. I'll add:
    D6 - 6 year old daughter
    S6 - 6 year old son
OP - Original Poster / Other Party (have seen both)
    CC - Case Conference
    SC Settlement Conference
TMC - Trial Management Conference / pre-trial conference
    etc...

I have many more, but I think you get the picture.
I had a lot of trouble understanding the acronyms in the beginning. Yes they are most definitely needed.

However my own dictionary of acronyms changes quickly as I went through 2 lawyers, $$$$ of dollars wasted and now I am self rep.
My ex had a pit bull lawyer and she also received a nice inheritance to pay him. I have the kids and no child support. None, nada, $0 and I pay her spousal.
I have a right to define a dictionary.

I did not start off this sour, I grew.
