Just curious, can father cancel an access without reason? Even though access time is in a court order?

is the father not allowing you your parenting time or is the father not wanting to exercise his parenting time?

Yes he can. And you take him to court for that and it goes on.

He denies you parenting time. If happened more than once then it's time for a motion on contempt, you need a lawyer for this, and a good one. This is a long process, can take months, if found in contempt by the court then he'll get a chance to improve his behaviour, if he continue to violate the parenting plan then he's facing jail time, this is a quasi criminal offence.
