still have not found lawyer
hi everyone,
really desperate for help....daughter in Yukon needs GOOD family law lawyer none there are available. we have made MANY MANY calls very few lawyers out of province are will ing to go the Yukon. Its unbelievable. has anyone heard of chuck Easton from Calgary did retain him but he nveever returns calls and he hasn't done anthing in nearly a month

What has been done so far with your retained lawyer? It might help to provide a bit of background, or what's been done, if you want suggestions on how to assist in "moving forward".
FYI, have you checked out the Yukon Family Law Information Centre? Family Law Information Centre (FLIC) - Department of Justice- Government of Yukon Perhaps there are avenues there, that can assist you?

hi, still no lawyer and yes I have contacted all the FLIC offices and law society, nobody can take the case in the Yukon. really sucks because will have to pay lots more for a lawyer to travel from BC or alberta. Does anyon e know of any type of financial assisstance

firstly there are very few family law lawyers in the Yukon and none are available to do the case

is it a complex case? Maybe self rep is going to be the way to go.
