I did not get "c.o.l.a" included in my court order and never really had a SA, b/c EX refused to cooperate. So for you: "tiredofthisnow" what does this mean - how does it impact you? I'm guessing positively.

Hadenough, all it means is that I cannot collect any over payment as the c.o.l.a WAS in the SA which was dated in 1996.

Not sure how I stumbled upon this old thread...

My husband has just started the steps to discontinue support. His FRO agent has been extremely helpful.

His order was dated July 24, 1997, enforced by FRO on August 14, 1997. The order has the COLA adjustment included in it. He received a letter every summer increasing his payments by COLA of 2%.

Is he eligible for the refund?

I wonder if anyone received a refund? Is this just another huge blunder of the Ontario government/FRO?
