My current boyfriend and I do not live together. We both have kids and maintain separate residences...it is easier this way.
His ex wife of 8 years is jealous of our relationship and she has severe control issues. She has sent text messages with death threats, says she is with the mafia, sends 30 abusive text messages in a day. Threatens to call the CAS on him and on me etc. We tell her to go ahead but that doesn't stop the threats.
We got the police involved as this is ridiculous. We want to be left alone. He pays his child support religiously and is a very attentive father. There is no reason for this especially after 8 years. They were only married for 4 years...marriage ended due to her control issues.
The police keep warning her that she is harassing us and that she can be arrested. They have told us that there is no point in arresting her because if she can equate even 1 % of the topic to the child the charges are not likely to stand. The child is 12 years old. They wont even bother to prosecute. The text messages continued minus the death threats.
She slowed down her text messages we recently learned why; She has a lawyer and she wants to reopen the separation agreement after 8 years. She agreed to time limited support in the agreement ( it was only for 6 months) and then released SS for after that period.
I would really appreciate any feedback on whether or not anyone thinks she could be successful.
