Hi - am newly registered to this forum, but have been a "silent observer" for awhile.
I have a question re the currently created FRO discretion to end/reduce child support when a "terminating" event occurs. Has anyone tried this yet? From what I understand, a letter is sent to FRO from the payor stating that child support should be ended/reduced according to the terms of the divorce agreement. FRO then contacts the recipient asking if the "terminating" event has occurred and if the recipient does not respond within 20 days, then FRO can exercise discretion in ending/reducing the child support.
Any advice would be helpful... thanks.
