*Coming up to four years and just maybe the end is in sight. My wannabe X. was the one the requested a divorce, but it has been my lawyers (on my third lawyer) that have been doing all the legal actions to bring a closure to our 37 year marriagep. We had just finished our first settlement conference, and he is preparing for a second one.
I'm going to ask him to also request that my spouse pay my legal fees.
She has the assets to pay this.
Can I do this? Has there been a precedent set already in the Family Court for for me to be able to ask this?
