how to fire a lawyer now when the Court is closed and there are important issues to undertake?

Tell your lawyer their retainer is terminated.

Pay your account (or assess the account, but if there are funds outstanding you likely won’t get your file until the account is paid)

Fill our and serve a form 4 on the otherside (or their lawyer) with you as the contact person. You should also serve your former lawyer.

Some courts are still accepting filings, others aren’t. If yours isn’t then file the form 4 (with affidavit of service) once court resumes.
