Parent B works in industry where he makes potentially 50-100K based upon commission sales. Last year parent B claimed 60K salary.
Parent B this year claims that he only made 20K on income tax statement. However, Parent B took summer off for 2 months because he didn't want to work. As well, Parent B filed a budget previously the year before that living expenses cost 5K a month.
Parent B hasn't changed lifestyle, still lives in the same house, except now is paying on 2 vehicles, and hired a nanny and claims only makes 20K and therefore should pay reduced child support.
To me this is sorta fishy, would this be a case of underemployment? Or courts would see what I mentioned as irrelevant and what's on T1 will be used and nothing else?
