  • Responding Party Didn't File CC Confirmation Form

    Hello,

Looking for some help on this - I tried searching the forums but didn't get a clear andswer. Clerc at FLIC said she couldn't give legal advice It is a procedural question.

I am in OCJ - I am the respondent, but motioning party for a motion to change.

First CC was scheduled for today, three days ago I called the responding party who at the time was "not aware" he needed to file a confirmation (we are both self-repping).

I even gave him a blank copy of the form that day.

Anyway, it seems he didn't file it - we are not on the docket today.

    So my question is -
What is the next step to move the case forward?

I am also going through OCJ.

When I called the court house and asked about the confirmation form for my first case conference, I was told by the court clerk it was not required, and we were on the docket for the right date.

I was told the confirmation form was only for Superior Court.

I am in superior court and I was the moving party. I always filed the confirmation but the other side never did. We were always on the Docket.
